Recognizing the need to promote its continued economic development and improve its existing conditions, the City of Summit commissioned Burgis Associates, Inc. to conduct a planning analysis of its downtown. The result was a wide-ranging plan that offered concrete and realistic goals, ensuring that the document would offer practical solutions to enhance the character of the district.
